September Newsletter Available

Published by admin under Uncategorized

Dear Park School Families,

Please click here to download our September newsletter. Thank you to all our contributors and our talented team of editors for this beautiful and informative newsletter!

Also, Kindergarten families please note that Revolution Foods will be offering a tasting next Wednesday, September 16th at 1:30 - sorry for the last minute reschedule!

A note from Safe Routes to School:

With the beautiful weather we’ve been having, we see lots of families biking to school together which is great!  But “back to school” also means increased car traffic and bike safety should be a top priority when riding on Mill Valley’s crowded streets.

Hilary Jeffries, your Safe Routes to School coordinator, would like to alert you to the upcoming Marin County Bicycle Coalition (MCBC ) “Riding with Youth” workshop. It will be taking place at the Tam Valley rec center on Saturday, September 26th from 9:30-12:00 and teaches safe bike riding skills to 2nd-8th grade children with with “on the street” riding experience. This is a wonderful, FREE, workshop and we encourage Park School 2nd-5th graders, their older siblings and parents to participate.

This is a perfect opportunity to get ready for International “Walk, Bike and Roll” to school day coming up in early October!  So grab your bikes and helmets and join MCBC on September 26th. Follow this link for more information about the Mill Valley event and to find times and dates of other workshops throughout the county.
