CALLING ALL PARK SCHOOL PARENTS:
The Park School Annual Holiday Book Fair opens in two weeks! Come browse the wonderful selection of books and get a jump on your holiday shopping. The Book Fair runs from Tuesday, December 1 through Friday, December 4. Click here for a flyer detailing our many exciting events.
WHAT YOU CAN DO NOW:
VOLUNTEER: We could really use some more volunteers to work at the Fair AND to help with the move in (Friday, November 20), set-up (Monday, December 1) and tear down (Saturday, December 5). Please contact Lainey Altvater at lainey_altvater@hotmail.com or Karen Sakanashi at kjem@sbcglobal.net if you can volunteer!
DONATE: This year at the Book Fair we are going to have a silent auction of “Book Bundles” — items and/or services donated by wonderful Park School parents and a related book. Donations include wonderful items such as: a beautiful Sarah Oliver handbag, a super workout hike with Staci Nicolas and Diane Weisman, a birthday cake by Leigh Ann Townsend and a necklace by our extraordinary not-just-a-librarian Jane Ritter. If you have an item or service that you could donate to support Park School, please contact Lisa Frisch at lfrisch@hotmail.com.
EAT: The annual Thursday night dinner at the Book Fair is being prepared this year by Mary Pult and Friends from the 4th Grade Class. Since Mary’s team is making all the food for the dinner, we kindly ask that you please pre-purchase you dinners. Order forms for the dinner will come home in children’s backpacks this week and will also be available online.
