About the Park School PTA
The PTA is the parent volunteer organization at Park School. Our goals are to supplement and enrich our children’s experiences at Park, support our teachers, and advocate for our children. To that end, Park parents contribute countless volunteer hours and make generous financial contributions. Without parent support, our school could not be the kind of place that it is.
There are many ways parents make a difference at Park. Volunteers are often welcome in the classroom. We help in the library, the art room, as well as at lunchtime and on the playground. There are also many events and programs throughout the year that are organized, staffed, and funded by the PTA.
We generally hold one major fundraiser in the Fall for ongoing programs. Some years we also do a special fundraiser for things like playground equipment or technology and multimedia.
The PTA meets monthly.
If you are not yet involved with the PTA, it’s never too late. We have a place for everyone whether it is your occasional turn at the lunch room or chairing a committee.
